COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
LAMP, HALOGEN (TUBULAR Q1500T3/CL)
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description.
This description covers a tubular tungsten-halogen lamp of 240 volts.
Salient characteristics:
A T-3 clear heat resistant glass bulb.
Recessed single contact base.
Filament design = C-8
Maximum length = 10-1/16 inches
Average rated life in hours = 3,000
Approximate lumens, initial = 33,000; mean = 32,000
Burn lamp horizontal
Lamp designation Q1500T3/CL, or 1500T3Q/CL.
The lamp shall be in accordance with ANSI C78.260
Workmanship. The lamp shall have no defects that affects serviceability or appearance.
The issue of ANSI C78.260 in effect on the date of the solicitation shall be used to determine compliance with this requirement.
Regulatory requirements. The manufacturer shall utilize recovered materials to the maximum extent practicable.
Packaging, packing, and marking. Packaging, packing, and marking shall be as specified in the contract or order.
