The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description.
This description covers 180/195 watt, rapid-start type, energy saving fluorescent lamps at 1500 ma operation.

Color cool white when tested in accordance with ANSI C78.376
Designed to operate only on two-lamp lead circuit, high-power factor, rapid-start, very high output indoor ballasts that meet ANSI C82.1 and UL 935 requirements, and in ambient temperature of not less than 18O C (65O F)
Dimensional and electrical characteristics shall be in accordance with ANSI C78.1
The issue of ANSI C78.1, ANSI C78.376, ANSI C82.1and UL Standard 935 in effect on the date of the solicitation shall be used to determine compliance with these requirements.
Workmanship. There shall be no defects that affect the serviceability or performance.
Regulatory requirements. The manufacturer shall utilize recovered materials to the maximum extent practicable.
Packaging, packing, and marking. Packaging, packing, and marking shall be as specified in the contract or order.
