LAMP, TUNGSTEN-HALOGEN (SEALED BEAM, TRADE NO. Q4681).
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description.
This description covers a quartz halogen sealed beam incandescent lamp for aircraft landing use.

Approximate initial maximum candlepower (CP) – 270,000

Maximum overall length – 2-5/8 inch (70 mm)
Rated average life – 50 hours
Caution – This sealed beam has an inner halogen cycle bulb. This pressure – filled inner bulb could shatter if scratched or damaged. If the outer sealed beam is intact, this will be no problem. If the outer sealed envelope is broken do not operate out remove and dispose of lamp with care.
Workmanship. The lamp shall have no defects which will affect serviceability or appearance.
Regulatory requirements. The offeror/contractor is encouraged to use recovered materials in accordance with Public Law 94-580 to the maximum extent practicable.
Preservation, packaging, packing, labeling, and marking. The preservation, packaging, packing, labeling, and marking shall be as specified in the contract or order.
