LAMP, PHOTOGRAPHIC (TRADE NO. ELC)

The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description.

This description covers a 16mm projection and color printer tungsten halogen lamp.

Average rated life- 50 hours

Maximum overall length= 1-3/4 inch

Approximate color temperature- 3,400^o K

2-inch diameter dichroic reflector

Burn base down to horizontal

Lamp should be used in equipment designed to maintain bulb and base temperatures within safe limits

Lamp should be protected from scratches and abrasions and should not be used to over 110% of rated voltage

The lamp shall be in accordance with ANSI Standard C78.1411

Workmanship. The lamp shall have no defect that affects serviceability or appearance.

The issue of ANSI C78.1411 in effect on the date of solicitation shall be used to determine compliance with these requirements.

Regulatory requirements. The offeror/contractor is encouraged to use recovered materials in accordance with Public Law 94-580 to the maximum extent practicable.

Preservation, packaging, packing, labeling, and marking. The preservation, packaging, packing, labeling, and marking shall be as specified in the contract or order.
