The General Services Administration has authorized the use of
this commercial item description.
This description covers a tubular tungsten-halogen lamp of 208 volts.

T-3 (9.5 mm) clear heat resistant glass bulb
Recessed single contact base
Filament design – C-8
Maximum overall length = 10-1/16 inches (255.6 mm)
Average rated life in hours – 2,000
Approximate lumens, initial – 33,000: mean – 32,000
Burn lamp horizontal
Lamp designation Q1500T3/CL or 1500T3Q/CL
The lamp shall be in accordance with ANSI C78.260
Workmanship. The lamp shall have no defects that affect serviceability or appearance.
The issue of ANSI C78.260 in effect on the date of solicitation shall be used to determine compliance with these requirements
Regulatory requirements. The offeror/contractor is encouraged to use recovered materials in accordance with Public Law 94-580 to the maximum extent practicable.
Preservation, packaging, packing, labeling, and marking. The preservation, packaging, packing, labeling, and marking shall be as specified in the contract or order.
