COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
LAMP, PHOTO, PROJECTION
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description.
This description covers photo projection lamps with a MR-16 glass reflection.
Salient characteristics:
The lamp shall be tungsten-halogen lamp.
The lamp shall be mounted in a 2-inch diameter dichroic reflector.
The mounting distance shall be 6 inches for ELH and ENH, and 11-3/4 inches for ENX, and 6/1/2 inches for ELD/EJN.
The lamp shall burn base down to horizontal.
The lamps shall have the following characteristics in accordance with Table I.
The lamp should be protected from scratches and abrasions.
The lamp should not be used at over 110 percent or rated voltage.

The issues of ANSI C78.370 and C78.1405 in effect on the date of the solicitation shall be used to determine compliance with these requirements and lamp designations.
Regulatory requirements. The manufacturer shall utilize recovered materials to the maximum extent practicable.
Packaging, packing, and marking. Packaging, packing, and marking shall be as specified to the contract or order.
