The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description.
This description covers overhead photo projection lamps with G-7 clear glass bulb.
Salient characteristics:
The lamp shall be tungsten-halogen lamp.
The lamp base shall be a 2-pin prefocus.
The lamp shall burn with coil horizontal.
The lamp should be protected from scratches and abrasions.
The lamp shall not be used at over 110 percent of rated voltage.
The lamps shall have the following characteristics in accordance with Table I.

The issue of the ANSI C78.370 in effect on the date of the solicitation shall be used to determine compliance with this lamp designation.
Regulatory requirements. The manufacturer shall utilize recovered materials to the maximum extent practicable.
Packaging, packing, and marking. Packaging, packing, and marking shall be as specified in the contract or order.
