The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description.
This description covers photo projection lamps with a MR – 14 glass reflector.
Salient characteristics:
The lamp shall be tungsten-halogen lamp.
The lamps shall be mounted in a 1-3/4 inch diameter dichroic reflector.
The mounting distance shall be 3-7/32 inches for ELE/ELT and Z-19/32 inches for EMM/EKS.
The lamp shall burn as indicated in Table I.
The lamp shall be protected from scratches and abrasions.
The lamp shall not be used at over 110 percent of rated voltage.
The lamps shall have the following characteristics in accordance with Table I.

The issue of the ANSI C78.1412 in effect on the date of the solicitation shall be used to determine compliance with this lamp designation.
Regulatory requirements. The manufacturer shall utilize recovered materials to the maximum extent practicable.
Packaging, packing, and marking. Packaging, packing, and marking shall be as specified in the contract or order.
