COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
LAMP, PHOTO, PROJECTION
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description.
This description covers a 16mm projection lamp with a T 3-1/2 inch quartz special heat resistant glass bulb in a 3-inch dichroic reflector.
Salient characteristics:
The lamp shall be an enclosed arc lamp.
The lamp base shall be a special 2-pin plug.
The lamp shall burn in a horizontal position.
The lamp shall use a special power supply unit.
The lamp should not be used at over 110 percent of rated voltage.
The lamp shall have the following characteristics in accordance with Table I.

The issue of ANSI C78.370 in effect on the date of the solicitation shall be used to determine compliance with the lamp designation (Lamp Code).
Regulatory requirements. The manufacturer shall utilize recovered materials to the maximum extent practicable.
Packaging, packing, and marking. Packaging, packing, and marking shall be as specified in the contract or order.
