REQUIREMENTS:

1. The envelope need not have the shape shown, but the envelope, including any coating thereon, shall be contained within the outline shown.

2. The dash number of the lamp, and the manufacturer's trademark or an abbreviation of the manufacturers name, shall be marked on the base of each lamp.

3. Requirements hereon shall be met with the design voltage listed above, either DC or 400 20 Hertz, applied to the contacts of the lamp.

4. Light emitted by the red lamps shall conform to SAE-AS25050 for aviation red except that it shall not be paler or yellower than NBS No. 3215 filter. The color may be attained by either colored glass or a coating on the glass.

NOTES:

1. Dimensions in inches.

2. Metric equivalents (to the nearest .01 mm) are given for general information only and are based upon 1 inch = 25.4 mm.

3. 313S, 316S AND 1819S lamps are intended for special application in MS25331 Press-To-Test indicator light assemblies which require minimum lamp length shown for proper operation.

4. Changes from previous issue. Marginal notations are not used in this revision to identify changes with respect to the previous issue due to the extent of the changes.
