2.3 Dimensions. The dimensions specified in figure 1 are the subject of International Standardization Agreements (see 6).

2.4 Workmanship. Workmanship shall be in accordance with the manufacture of a high quality headlamp. This shall be evidenced by the absence of defects which are detrimental to the appearance, serviceability or durability of the headlamp such as: surface deterioration, fractures, color bleeding, deterioration of bonding material, exterior or internal corrosion.

3. Contractor certification. The contractor shall certify and maintain substantiating evidence that the product offered meets the salient characteristics of this commercial item description and that the product conforms to the producer’ s own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices. Items with known defects shall not be submitted for Government acceptance. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance prior to the fir6t delivery and thereafter as may be otherwise provided for under the provisions of the contract or order.
